Wonder Woman starring Gal Godot — watch as soon as possible

We all know how disappointing Man of Steel and Suicide Squad was for the fans of DC comics. They didn't get what they deserved from the horrible sequel to Superman and the movie with the mashup of the superheroes. However, you will see them lifting up this air of disappointment through the release of their biggest female superhero movie Wonder Woman.

Wonder Woman plot - warning SPOILERS

This movie was set in 1918. Diana Prince, also known as Wonder Woman, is living on the Amazon island of Themyscira where female warriors exist. The story begins when a pilot named Steve Trevor crashes on the island and is rescued by Diana. He informs her about the ongoing World War I. He also informs her how this would lead to the end of the world. Doing what a superhero would do, our favorite Wonder Woman decides to get involved in the war in order to stop it. It requires her to leave her hometown (the island where she was born). Afterward, she learns about her destiny and her unmatched powers.

Wonder Woman is a must watch masterpiece

I believe, everyone, who paid to watch Superman Vs. Batman, must watch this masterpiece. This movie features a woman full of strength, which gained the attention of all the world and fought the misogynistic views of treating women as delicate sex objects, this movie offers much more. When you watch it, you will realize this movie offers a real story. It is not all about action and fights. During the first twenty minutes of the movie, you will realize that this movie is worthy of your hard-earned dollars.

Who is Wonder Woman and where did she come from?

Barely some of us know about the history of this most famous female superhero. Diana Prince is the secret identity of  superhero Wonder Woman. Wonder Woman first appeared in 1941 in All Start Comics. This character was created by a Harvard psychologist, named William Moulton Marston.

Looking back in the history, William created Wonder Woman after observing that comics are filled with superheroes full of masculinity. This was the first step towards the diversity in the superhero movie industry where a woman could be considered as powerful as other male superheroes. Moving forward, we could still see many examples where Wonder Woman has been portrayed as a weak character. However, the 2017 Wonder Woman, directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, has turned the tables by showing the strength and power of a female superhero instead of a delicate woman seeking the support of a man.

Hence, you must have heard a lot about the movie Wonder Woman, but must be wondering whether to watch it or not. I suggest you watch this movie as soon as possible! This movie contains everything that DC comics fans expected from Man of Steel and Suicide Squad. It has top quality action, best story line, and a powerful female character which is rare in the superhero movie industry.

Those of you who have become a fan of this movie and looking for some similar movies, must give these movies a try: Lucy (starring Scarlett Johansson) and Divergent(starring Shailene Woodley). Both films were released in 2014 and have excellent plots featuring strong female characters that will hold your attention throughout the movie.
